About

Tash-saarai is a casual roleplay guild focusing on slice-of-life Sith roleplay in a college/university setting.

This is a guild for Sith (warrior and inquisitor) characters only. It is located on the Star Forge server. We ask that all players and their characters are 18+. Guild is diversity and LGBT+ friendly.

We may occasionally have roleplay events, but they will never be mandatory. So no worries about being too busy with IRL stuff to participate.

Lore

The premise here is that some Sith, after proving their salt at the academy on Korriban, just can't land a personal apprenticeship with a Sith Lord. Or maybe they just don't want to, for whatever reason. But it wouldn't be economical to let all that Sithy talent go to waste. Which is where Kaas City College comes in. At this fine institute of higher learning, all Sith have a chance to further their training outside of the traditional master/apprentice system.

Kaas City College is basically like your average community college, except the faculty and student body is entirely Sith, which leads to all kinds of antics. This guild and it's premise are very unserious. Imagine the show Community, but the characters are all evil space wizards.

Kaas City College has had a longstanding rivalry with Ziost University (an older and more prestigious school with the same goal of providing Sith with alternative education options) since it's founding.

After the destruction of Ziost, all surviving students of Ziost U were offered seats at KCC with all their credits transferred. This has, unsurprisingly,, led to some friction and even several altercations on campus.

KCC has a number of fraternal orders. Similar to "Greek life", they tend to name their frats using terms or characters in the Sith language, regardless of if it is entirely accurate. Tash-saarai is one of these frats.
